An Approach That Works
At Detangling Dyslexia, the Science of Reading meets Structured Literacy while implementing an Orton-Gillingham approach resulting in the gold standard; a research evidence-based, multisensory method (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) for teaching all students, however imperative for individuals with dyslexia. It focuses on reading, spelling, and writing skills in a structured way that is easy for students to understand and remember. It has been proven to help students improve their language skills and achieve lasting results.

To show improvement, 45 minute sessions are held 2-3 times a week
A personalized approach ensures that each student receives instruction at their own pace and at their own level of understanding. An 80% attendance rate is required to ensure fidelity.
